ESL part II

The background: A few months ago at one of the awards ceremonies we were attending Alex and I saw Penelope Cruz. (OK, so we weren't actually there.) We say her on the tv and we were joking about how if it is true that people end up looking like their dogs then Penelope Cruz must have a Chihuahua. Fast forward to last night: Alex and I were watching the movie : 'Fools Rush In'. The main character Selma Hayek (not sure how to spell her name) has a Chihuahua. There was a scene starring the Chihuahua and Alex said, (re: the dog)


'That was penny-lope's (rhymes with soap) first role."
I'm like "what?!?" Penny-lope?
