Sun Lakes State Park...
We went for the weekend with 3 of our "best friend" families.
It was so great because we reserved 4 sites, 2 sites on each side of a grassy/partially shaded area. The kids played all day long, riding their bikes or scooters around the "loop" that we were camping on or playing in the grass (football, baseball, horseshoes, water guns/balloons). The stuff memories are made of. On the way over I made the kids listen to Peter Paul and Mary/Mamas and the Papas/Beach Boys (a little Folk-Rock music lesson)(they need to learn all of the words before they can move to the next level)(Neil Diamond). The weather was great, we finally got some warm and sun (overcast and raining some on Saturday but still mid 80's). Now we are waiting to get some warm on the west of the mountains! We are breaking records for cold for the month of June. The 5 day forecast looks good and like we might make it to 80 over the weekend... at least it's not raining!

For a second there I thought that was US sitting around the campfire!!!
Who did you go with? Looks like fun!
It would seem that you forgot one of the most important lessons in “Road Trip Tunes 101”….. Jim Croce!!! With out this kind of education Kai Might continue to be “Socks with Sandals Guy” well into his 40’s. Teach him now … before it’s too late!
