Family reunion continued

Day 3 (Thursday)

The kids took us on the hike that they went on with Grandpa yesterday...the kids and my dad along with my Uncle David his grandkids (Megan and Laura), Uncle Ron and his wife Annette and my cousin Maddy. It was a great little adventure. We packed a lunch and ate along the shores of the Salmon River. It was beautiful!

The kids spent the rest of the day running around playing with each other. (They were completely exhausted!) Kai mastered the 2 wheeled bike (FINALLY!) even on gravel. Something the Dr. advised us not to let him do. (he didn't want him riding a bike at all) The grownups took turns taking the kids to the bathroom, playing games, playing horseshoes (Portuguese horseshoes), riding bikes and just visiting with each other.

As usual, the day ended with a family pot-luck dinner. (Wednesday through Saturday nights) And (of course Mafia!) the game that we play every year around the campfire.

Brian arrived early in the afternoon, Jennie and Jameson arrived late afternoon. Alex flew down to the Portland airport and Cristin (our cousin) who lives in Battle Ground, WA picked him up and drove him out. It was great to see everyone together but especially (for me) Alex. I hate it when we are apart.

OH! I almost forgot..Kevin and Sherry arrived around 12:30am The kids were SO EXCITED to see them when they woke up Friday morning.
